CMF Headphone Pro – Brief Review
CMF Headphone Pro, the first over-ear headphones from Nothing’s sub-brand CMF, focus on bold design, useful features, and affordability. Priced at ₹7,999 (launch price ₹6,999), they offer great value in the budget headphone segment.
The headphones feature a lightweight (283g) plastic build, soft cushioning, and a colourful, premium-looking design. They are comfortable for long usage but do not fold, which affects portability. A unique highlight is the replaceable ear cushions, adding a modular and practical touch.
They come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with multiple levels, 40mm drivers, and support LDAC and Hi-Res audio. Sound quality is bass-forward with good clarity and separation, making them ideal for casual and modern music listeners. The Nothing X app allows easy control, EQ presets, and customisation, though EQ options are limited.
Battery life is a strong point, offering up to 50 hours (around 44 hours in real use) with ANC enabled, along with fast charging support. Call quality is reliable, and Bluetooth 5.4 ensures stable connectivity.
Verdict:
CMF Headphone Pro is one of the best headphones under ₹8,000, offering solid sound, effective ANC, long battery life, and a stylish design. While the plastic build, limited EQ, and IPX2 rating are minor drawbacks, it’s an excellent pick for users seeking maximum value for money.
