This is the upcoming OnePlus Turbo while will be making its way to India fairly soon. This device is using the codename ‘Prado’ and has some pretty beastly specs, particularly for a mid-range device.
OnePlus actually announced the Turbo series last week, however it may only carry that name in China and be released as a Nord in other parts of the world. OnePlus China President, Li Jie Louis announced the Turbo series on Weibo and said they would offer “frighteningly strong” performance, battery life, and gaming capabilities compared to others in its price range.
OnePlus Turbo Rumored Specs
The rumored specs right now for the OnePlus Turbo are quite powerful, including a 9,000mAh capacity battery with 80W fast charging. There’s also a 6.8-inch 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate, so this is not quite the same display as we’ve seen on the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R, both of which use 165Hz displays. OnePlus will also use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 to power this device.

OnePlus Turbo build and design
The OnePlus Turbo has a similar design to all the other recent OnePlus devices. That includes having the camera module in the upper-left-hand corner for the primary and ultrawide cameras. Now, as far as materials go, our source says that this is going to use a glossy back and be mostly made of plastic. Meaning that this is likely going to be a pretty inexpensive device. This would make sense, since it is going to be coming to India.
As far as colors go, there are at least two colors being tested – Blue and Black. The color here is obviously the Blue one. This looks to be more of a greenish blue color, which looks pretty incredible, actually. Of course, the black will likely just be a glossy black color that will attract fingerprings.
OnePlus Turbo rumored availability
The OnePlus Turbo is rumored to be launching around March 2026, according to our source. This means that OnePlus could opt to announce this around Mobile World Congress, which takes place March 2-5, 2026, in Barcelona. OnePlus typically has a couple of small announcements for MWC, like the OnePlus Watch 3 this past year.
While the Turbo line was announced for China, it will likely remain there. Similar to the OnePlus Ace line of devices, which usually launches globally as the budget flagship OnePlus 13R or OnePlus 15R, more recently. So the OnePlus Turbo will likely launch as a Nord device.
Unfortunately, that does mean that it’s unlikely to come to the US. OnePlus hasn’t launched a new Nord device in the US in a few years now. In fact, the Nord line is not even mentioned on the OnePlus US website.
